Elite Limousines also offers Driver Guide services (only available in Naples, Florence and other areas to be confirmed by our Booking Office).

A Driver Guide (DG) is a licensed Tour Conductor which is also licensed to drive Chauffeur Driven Vehicles. This combined service was first offered by our company in Italy and is the reason for our success.
This kind of service offers the "value for money", with just a small surcharge you get a full assistance and insight; combining the proper commentary with the outstanding sights on the tour.
Maintain an optimal level of quality and quantity regarding the information given. With our DG clients will receive a well rounded out picture of the historical background and the culture, yes, the very spirit of each visited area and relative sight.
In comparison, a DG's knowledge of local areas and the whole country is extremely thorough and consistently superior to that of an English Speaking Driver (Chauffeur). A DG is fluent in the required foreign language, can act as interpreter and travel consultant for his clients.
A Driver Guide assists in such decisions as the best sights to see, how to best use the touring time and, if necessary, possible short-term changes of plans according to their individual likes or dislikes.
A Driver Guide will point out the right restaurants and will simply ensure that clients get out of the trip whatever they were looking for, be it fun, culture, sights, landscapes, shopping, food tasting etc.
The Driver Guide will always be at disposal of the clients. In difference to a Chauffeur, a Driver Guide will park and leave the vehicle as needed in order to tour clients around the city giving assistance and introducing sights.
Thus a client will always get a deeper understanding of sights and thus enjoy what they see.

* A Tourist Guide or Tour Guide is a professional who guides visitors, in the language of their choice and interprets the cultural, artistical and natural heritage of an area, possesses an area-specific qualification, issued and recognized by the appropriate governement authority, is a duly trained and educated professional who becomes then authorized to give sightseeing tours in our major sights.
Tourist Guides are capable of giving in depth explanations about history, art and culture of the territory or city for which they are licensed.
Using a local Tourist Guide is particularly adviceable if a tourist wants to receive specialized information inside museums, churches or monuments.
We do provide sightseeing walking tours with our professional guides in most relevant sites of the country.

** Note: a Driver Guide will not take clients inside museum, churches and archaeological sights since this is the role of Local Guides, that can be booked separately when required.
When to book a Driver Guide: we recommend to use a Driver Guide instead of a Chauffeur for daily excursions from Florence, multiple days tours of Tuscany and Italy or transfers with sightseeing stops on the way.
A Driver Guide is recommended for clients who want a deeper understanding of the sights they see and who want to maintain a certain level of independence when it comes to their tour itinerary.
